Singing Lessons for Children

We all sing, and singing is the basis for all music. Babies learn to sing by imitating sounds. If you sing to them, they will try to copy you. Many children can sing in tune by the time they start school, and the more they sing the better they get.

Some children have a talent for singing, and you may want to consider vocal lessons or training, but it is generally not a good idea to have too much formal training at an early age. If you do opt for singing lessons young children, make sure they are fun so that they do not lose interest.

Children’s Singing lessons, classes and private instruction tend to start from about six years of age. Singing lessons can be fun for kids using their favourite songs, microphones and performing for parents and friends. Local choirs offer another way to develop a child’s voice and teach them the art of singing and are a great way for younger children to acquire vocal skills. Choir membership helps a child to develop their ability to stay in tune, and their harmony skills. Kids can also learn basic musicianship skills which include the ability to understand rhythmic counting, knowledge of scales and even some elemental music theory, by joining a choir.

Piano Lessons for Adults Online: Bring Back the FUN

Has it ever crossed your mind to learn how to play the piano? Well I used to think that trying to learn the piano as an adult would be boring, frustrating and just plain pointless. Till I found out that it doesn’t have to be that way. We adults can still learn how to play the piano and have fun doing it.

In a time where learning the piano has lost some of its flare, where piano lessons have become more expensive than weekly groceries and where the thought of doing this just brings pure frustration, I have found that there is a way to bring back that enthusiasm and learn how to play the piano with sheer joy and appreciation.
